The History of the World Eadaë
The Gods have written their book of days, and it spans millennia.  From the earliest societies of those beings who lived before the gods, to the springtime of the gods themselves, on through the ages of magic and man, the world has turned and spawned legends and horrors and mighty civilizations.  There is no end to this cycle, save for when the Last Leaf Falls.   Last updated October 30, 2005

In the days since the beginning, gods and great beings have walked the world like storms of flame, while lesser beings still more powerful than any mortal have dared to battle against their creators.  It is now a world where different races live together, their civilizations rising and falling upon the Two Continents like the tides of the ocean.  And into this arose the Autumn Lord, god of fallen grace, who sought only to bend the world to his vision of order, and in doing so destroy all the beauty inherent in the earth.  A battle rages now, between those who would see life continue, and the evil that would see it fall into an eternal decay.  It is a battle that shall rage until the strongest prevails, when the Last Leaf of Autumn falls....

My fantasy writing began in the mid-80's, being derivative of many popular works of the time.  But it served as a spring board for the imagination.  Once again, the woman that would eventually become my wife joined with me in the endeavor, and together we eventually formed this little universe.

The Atlas of Eadaë
Among the Two Continents there are many different lands and regions, home to a vast array of cities, villages, mountain ranges, deserts, plains.  Each place has its own feel, its own sense of being.  In a world of magic, it could be said that each land is alive in its own way.  And these lands hold memories, some of which are dark and foreboding, and others which are the very essence of Eadaë's springtime.  Last updated October 30, 2005
The Divinity of Eadaë
The gods of Eadaë are a varied lot, and include not only true beings that exist upon some higher plane of existence, but a myriad of mythologies and religions that have formed throughout the ages.  Last updated October 30, 2005
The Sociological View
As it is the various intelligent beings that are the drivers of this great story,  this section is that which details the many peoples of the world, and those things that make each of these peoples unique.  Last updated October 30, 2005
Dramatis Personae
The world of Eadaë is made up a an entire cast of characters, existing throughout the reaches of time, both good and evil, and more often than not of heroic stature.  But there are many more who have added to history in minor ways, and they too are of great importance, and will add to the scales of finality when, in the end, the Last Leaf falls. The Bestiary
This is a naturalist's guide to Eadaë, covering the wide variety of animal and plant life, and those regions that they dwell within.  Some beasts are familiar to us, others come from our past.  And still others resemble nothing in any world.  Last updated October 30, 2005
Tome of Knowledge
A dictionary of terms and phrases found in the world of Eadaë.  Think of this as a brief view on entries that can be found elsewhere on the site, where they are explained in more detail.

Tales, Scribbles, and Abstractions
In the long history of this particular project, I have written a ton of stuff, from aborted storylines to miscellaneous bits of world history to chapter writes and re-writes and re-re-writes.  I've finally decided that some of this stuff should be posted here.  It might give a little more insight into this project, aside from the sterile, information-loaded sections elsewhere on this site, and it will help eliminate a ton of paper that I have in storage!

The Leaves of Autumn Mailing List
This list is open to anyone who cares to join.  you certainly don't have to contribute, though input from time to time would be nice.  But if you would rather just watch this project develop, then feel free!  Currently traffic is slow, although it does have periods of high message content.
